Suggestion
Curb Parking is essential to preserve on Kenyon Drive between Kolb and Prudence. Booth Fickett needs curb parking for parents dropping off/picking up school children and the YMCA on Prudence uses Kenyon for overflow parking for special events. We must have a curb parking lane, and then the bicycle lane can be next to that if you need to mark it. The street is wide enough to handle those lanes on both sides of the street.
Suggestion
This road requires man hole covers to be lifted for nearly the entirety of the road from Swan to Rosemont Ave as they currently create hazards that require driving outside of unmarked lanes to avoid tire and wheel damage. Additionally, the road is narrow with no sidewalks, which may create difficulty with increased bicycle and pedestrian traffic as this is currently the only road leading in and out of the established neighborhood with no speed humps. The traffic circle at Eastland and Niven is silly and a waste of money as your only options on the road are straight or left. I live on Rosemont Ave and prefer NOT to have a speed hump adjoining my property.
Suggestion
Having lived in this neighborhood (Palo Verde Park) for 30 years, I can see one huge problem with this plan. I live on Kenyon near Kenyon/Yale and the speed of too many vehicles through the neighborhood, especially on my street, is a problem. You will need to get people to slow down and pay attention or you will have safety issues. Tthis problem is only made worse by all the TUSD traffic to Kellond Elementary which is adjacent to the proposed bike boulevard and by all the traffic that cuts through the neighborhood to avoid the major intersections surrounding our neighborhood. Are you really going to put a traffic roundabout at Eli/Yale? That might help slow traffic down on Yale but it won't be enough until other streets are addressed, too.

Columbus needs traffic calming in this area. Other areas of Columbus have been getting speed tables. With the bicycle crossing and proximity to Lineweaver Elem, it would help slow down cars and improve safety.

As a resident right here on Paseo Dorado, I strongly support this proposed speed bump.

If there are opportunities to collaborate or assist on additional infrastructure (chicane?) I would certainly be interested in helping facilitate.

If I am reading this map correctly, there is no proposed infrastructure on Columbus itself, just signage on Paseo Dorado and Eastland.

I would recommend traffic calming measures for this crossing. Although the posted speed limit is 25mph vehicles generally travel at 35mph or greater. If a HAWK is not feasible, speed humps, median curbs, lighted signs, etc. would be very helpful. I ride my bike with small children across Columbus to access Toumey Park and currently it is not very safe.

I would use this to get my kids to school.
