Suggestion
One other thing - refers to everything the city builds for the people. Parks, Loop, bike blvds - make sure there is enough money to maintain them or the point of providing them has been defeated. The Treat repaving has deteriorated significantly in 3 years. You get what you pay for --- and if no money has been set aside for upkeep - you end up with nothing very quickly. What about street cleaning and vegetation trimming - all need to be in the budget.
Suggestion
the whole interactive map is incredibly confusing. Start point? End point? of the blvd? Can't read a reference points. Where am I? Touch anything and a comment is requested.
I ride Treat bike blvd a lot. At main roads, especially Speedway and Grant police oversight and ticketing is needed. Cars do not know how to use Hawk lights. Need public educations program about hawk lights for everyone - drivers, cyclists, pedestrians. Bike blvds are great! Best addition to the loop - speaking of - still waiting and waiting and waiting for a new Loop map.
Suggestion
would have liked to have seen route utilize west end of EL CON center. I can surmise reason(s) why this did not happen. Would have been a great opportunity to integrate a multimodal transit hub and spur possible development through Community Corridors process.
